Not many folks are aware of the overwhelming evidence for the use of hypnosis as a way of reducing pain, achieving goals and breaking bad habits.  Hypnotherapy is an up and coming profession, and you are thinking about a career change, it might be just the way to go.  One way you can do it is to learn to hypnotize online.

There are many different programs that will give you hypnotherapy training online, but make sure you pick somewhere that is accredited and legitimate.  Something you should consider before you decide if you want to become a hypnotherapist is if you are ready to help others.  Hypnosis can be very powerful in helping people, but there are a couple of things to think about.  You should never use hypnosis to ask a person to do anything that could be harmful to themselves or others.  Think about it this way.  Don’t ask a person under hypnosis to do anything that you wouldn’t ask them otherwise.

Another thing to consider is that some people will tell you they didn’t feel hypnotized.  Since hypnosis is a naturally occurring state, it may feel normal to most people.  If your patient is afraid of you or of hypnosis, it will be much harder for them to become hypnotized.

Now that you know these few things, here are some things to help you know if your patient is hypnotized.

–          Fluttering of the eyelids

–          Increased wetness or redness of the eyes when opened

–          Relaxation and loosening of muscles, especially facial muscles

–          Feelings of warmth or coolness, or tingling sensations

–          Changes in breathing rate and depth

–          Fingers, arms, legs may twitch slightly

You might expect to see some or all of these symptoms of hypnosis in the patients that you hypnotize.  As alternative medicine becomes more accepted by many people, the demand for hypnotherpaists is growing. Because of this, many more career schools, as well as colleges and universities are offering this kind of training.  Schools that offer hypnosis training may even offer it online, which can be more flexible.  So if you are ready for a career in helping others, and are interested in the human mind, learn to hypnotize.
